About the course
Survey analysis is introduced in both the Getting Started with Action Research and the Getting Started wtih Lesson Study courses. This session is an opportunity to learn more about this data collection method, which can be used is a range of formal and non-formal learning environments.
Teachers and educators commonly design and use surveys to better understand students’ reactions to learning and non-cognitive learning outcomes. This session focuses on the processing, analysis and reporting of survey results.
Topics to be covered
- Processing quantitative data (mean, median, mode, average, percentage)
- Graphing results (continuous, discrete and interval data)
- Coding qualitative data (framewor and thematic analysis)
- Triangulating data
- Reporting and communicating results
